Non-stop pride on Air Transat

  • Love is love.
There is no other way of doing things than the inclusive way.

Our entire raison d’être is to bring people from point A to point B. We’re an airline; that’s what we do. We truly feel privileged to be a creator of opportunities, to foster openness both here in Montreal and everywhere we fly to. For our employees and our passengers, but also for our collective responsibility to create a just society for each and every one of us.

2022 was a landmark year for Air Transat. For the first time in our history, we brought together a group of content creators from Montreal's LGBTQ+ community to discover San Francisco's activist heritage, meet those trailblazers who are dedicated to making change happen, and take part in the San Francisco Pride Parade. We repeated the experience in 2023, this time across the ocean to Brighton and London in the United Kingdom.

And our signature LGBTQ+ livery, which adorns one of our Airbus A321LR aircraft, shines in the skies year-round. Because being inclusive, truly inclusive, is not just a one-time thing.

Of course, there’s still plenty to do, at home and abroad. We recognize that. Our wish is to be a vector of change and to encourage dialogue, discovery and transformation... big and small.

Openness is and will continue to be our main driving force for years to come.

We can't wait to see what 2024 brings!
