How to create a Staria constellation

Together, your rewards go further

A Staria constellation is a group account you can create with up to 8 other members. By sharing a group account with other Staria members, your points will automatically be added to a shared balance. As the group account balance grows, all members of the constellation can access rewards more quickly.

How does it work?

  • Earning points

    The points that a constellation member earns on an eligible flight or package will be added to the group account once the trip has been completed.

    The constellation's shared balance, and the contributions of each member, will be updated automatically.

  • Using points

    Only constellation members who are authorised to use points from the group account may do so.

    When points from the shared balance are used, each member’s balance is adjusted according to their contribution.

How to create a constellation?

To create or join a constellation, log in to the Member’s space and visit the “Constellation” section.

Click on “Start a constellation”, then “Add member”. Complete the on-screen fields and click “Send”.

Please note that the member who creates the group account is automatically designated as the account manager.

What happens to my points when I join a constellation?

When you join a constellation, all of your points will be automatically deposited into the shared balance. This account balance is shared among all group members. Individual account balances no longer exist: all points become part of a collective total.

How the points are used depends on the permissions set by the account manager. Based on these settings, you can either redeem shared points or simply continue to earn points for the group.

Can I leave my constellation?

Yes. You can leave a constellation at any time, but there is a mandatory 6-month waiting period before you can join another constellation.

How are constellation points redeemed?

Points are deducted proportionally to each member’s contribution to the constellation balance.

Concrete example:

A constellation comprised of 4 members has a total balance of 20,000 points. When one member uses 5,000 points for a reward:

  • The total group account balance changes to 15,000 points.
  • Each member's individual balance is adjusted according to their contribution percentage.

This method ensures a fair distribution of points, without penalizing other members.

What happens to my points if I leave my constellation?

If you leave a constellation, you will recover your portion of the points, based on your contribution, minus any points that have already been redeemed.
