Attribution of points

How does it work?

  • Points are attributed to your account after each segment of the flight has been completed.

    So, for a roundtrip flight, some points will appear in your account a few hours after your departure flight has been completed, and the rest of the points will appear after your return flight has been completed.

  • Points are attributed to passengers who are members of the program.

    The person who reserved the flight will only earn points if they are also travelling on the flight.

  • Points are attributed when the following criteria have been respected:

Eligibility for earning points during the test phase

  • Requirements for a flight to be eligible for earning points:

    • The flight is operated by Air Transat
    • The flight was booked on the canadian Air Transat site

    Flights not eligible for earning points:

    • ️Uncompleted flight segments
    • ️Cancelled flights
    • ️Flights included in a Transat package. They will be subject to the specific earning rules for packages, a feature that will be available soon.

  • Accumulation of points

    The number of points attributed will vary according to the fare type selected for the flight and the amount paid, before taxes and airport fees.

  • Point accumulation by fare type:

    3 PTS Eco Budget: 3 points per dollar spent

    5 PTS Eco Standard / Club Standard: 5 points per dollar spent

    7 PTS Eco Flex / Club Flex: 7 points per dollar spent

  • Eligible services*:

    5 PTS per dollar spent

  • And that’s not all: even when you use your points, you continue to earn more! Points are attributed to the portion of the trip that has been paid in cash, before taxes and airport fees.
