Frequently Asked Questions regarding On-Board Services
As a result of COVID-19 and to ensure your safety and that of our employees, we have had to modify certain inflight services. Here, we answer some of your most frequently asked questions.
Will there be a meal served in Economy Class on transatlantic flights?
Yes. A prepackaged meal consisting of a sandwich, salad and dessert will be served, but there will be no meal tray. A snack will also be offered.
Will I be able to purchase products from the Bistro menu?
The Bistro menu will be available on all flights to the South, Europe and within Canada (longer than three hours). However, the offer will be limited to sealed items that do not require additional handling: chips, chocolate and sandwiches.
Will Chef Daniel Vézina’s gourmet menu be available?
Will I be able to order a special meal?
No. If you have dietary restrictions, you’re welcome to bring your own meal on board. Inquire about restricted products at your departure airport.
Will there be beverage service during the flight?
Yes, bottled water will be served. You will also be able to purchase beer in cans and wine in single-serve bottles at affordable prices.
Will Club Class services be affected by the health and safety measures?
Unfortunately, yes. Priority boarding and the welcome cocktail will not be offered. Alcoholic beverages will be limited to beer and wine in single-serve bottles, and offered on request. And the gourmet meals by Chef Daniel Vézina will be replaced by premium prepackaged meals to reduce handling and contact.
However, priority check-in, additional baggage allowance, priority queue at airport checkpoints and priority baggage handling will still be offered. In addition,
the Comfort Kit and amenity kit will be placed on each seat prior to boarding.
Will Option Plus be affected by the health and safety measures?
Priority boarding, the Comfort Kit, the meal from the Bistro menu (for flights to the South only) and alcoholic beverage will not be offered. Priority check-in, one piece of checked baggage, priority at airport checkpoints and priority baggage delivery are still available.
Will my kids receive the Kids Club on-board surprises?
Unfortunately, the overall service has been revised to minimize contact. As a result, the distribution of on-board surprises has been suspended for the time being.
Will I be able to make purchases from the on-board duty-free boutique?
