Air Transat flights take off from Terminal 3 at Fiumicino Airport, located 32 km from Rome, which can be reached by car, bus, taxi or train. At the airport, travellers will find a number of shops and services, as well as food courts. WiFi is also available free of charge in all terminals of the airport.

Air Transat Check-In Counters

  • Club Class: Our dedicated Club Class and Option Plus counters offer priority check-in to passengers who have opted for these services. Option Plus passengers are also welcome to check in at the Club Class counter if there are no clients waiting in line.
  • Kids Club: Families travelling with children can check in at our dedicated Kids Club counter or even at our Club Class counter.
  • Economy Class: All other passengers are invited to check in at our Economy Class counters.

A wide range of perfumes, cosmetics, wines, spirits, tobacco, chocolate and the finest Italian delicacies are also available at Fiumicino Airport’s Aelia Duty Free shops

    Fiumicino Airport offers families various services to make travelling with little ones easier and more enjoyable:

    • Baby corners, equipped with games for children, located at the Arrivals level, in Terminal 3 and Terminal 1.
    • Complimentary stroller service, making navigating through the airport easier for parents and more pleasant for kids.
    • Nurseries, equipped with cots and changing facilities, located at the Departures level, in Terminal 3.
  • Connected to Rome

    There are a number of ground transportation options available from Fiumicino Airport:

    • Leonardo Express: this non-stop train service connects Fiumicino Airport with central Rome (Termini Station) in 32 minutes  (fastest option).
    • Terravision Bus: the cheapest public transport option between the airport and city centre of Rome, this bus costs about a third of the Leonardo Express fare but takes at least twice as long and is not as frequent.
    • FL1: this local train connects the airport with several stations in the city, which offer transfers to the metro, bus and tram routes.
    • Other buses, shuttles and taxis may be worth considering if the first three options don’t meet your needs.
  • Easy parking

    Fiumicino Airport provides several parking options for your convenience:

    • Long-term economy car park: 2,000 covered and 2,000 open-air spaces are available. It can be reached directly from the Rome-Fiumicino (A91) highway.
    • Multi-level comfort car parks: these roofed parking lots are marked with the letters A-B-C-D-E and can be reached directly from the Rome-Fiumicino (A91) highway.
    • In front of the terminals at both the Arrivals and Departures levels, there are one-hour parking spaces, indicated by blue lines on the pavement.
