Terms and Conditions: Seat Selection

  • Seats can be selected up to 24 hours before departure.
  • Prices are per passenger, per flight segment and are subject to change without notice. Fees are non-refundable. For passengers who have booked a vacation package (flights and hotel) wishing to select their seat, please refer to the Eco Budget rates.
  • You must claim your selected seat at least 75 minutes prior to departure. Otherwise, it may be reassigned without possibility of refund.
  • The service will be billed with an automated amount according to its currency on file.
  • Connecting flight (feeder, cross-border, and international connectivity): Passengers must pay the seat selection fee for the domestic/cross-border flight portion as well as for the international flight portion. Therefore, 2 types of fees are applicable.

Limit of liability: Upon payment of the seat selection fee, Air Transat will assign you your requested seat. No refund will be provided should you cancel your seat selection prior to travel. In the event of an aircraft substitution, Air Transat will assign an equivalent seat. If you do not receive an equivalent seat, you can request a refund for your seat selection. To do so, you must submit a copy of your boarding pass, along with your contact information, within 30 days of your return flight. Any request for a refund made after this deadline or without all the required information will not be processed. Air Transat’s liability is limited to refunding the fees associated with seat selection.
