Prize draw rules (the “Rules”)
1. PRIZE DRAW PERIOD
The “Air Transat Toronto Prize Draw” (the “Prize draw”) is organised by Transat Tours Canada Inc. operating as Air Transat (the “Organiser”). The “Prize Draw Period” starts on 10 September 2025 at 00:01 BST (the “Prize draw Opening Date”) and ends 22 October 2025 at 23:59 BST (the “Prize draw Closing Date”).
2. PRIZE DRAW GROUP
For the purposes of the Prize draw, the “Prize draw group” is composed of the Organiser, together with franchisees, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers of material and services related to the Prize Draw and any other corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship or other legal entity to the benefit of which this Prize Draw is held, as well as their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and other representatives.
3. ELIGIBILITY
The Prize Draw is open to all residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 years or over as of Prize Draw Opening Date, with the exception of employees, agents, and representatives of the Organiser, its affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies, suppliers of materials, prizes, and services associated with this Prize Draw, as well as any other person directly involved in the organisation of the Prize Draw, and members of their immediate family, parents, siblings, children, their spouses or common-law partners, and all persons with whom these employees, representatives, and agents cohabit.
4. METHODS OF ENTRY
4.1. There is no purchase necessary to enter the Prize Draw. Individuals (the “Entrant” or “Entrants”) may enter during the Prize Daw Period using the method outlined below. No entries will be accepted by any other means.
4.2. Entrants must have a valid email address to enter. One entry per email address. Each Entrant is responsible for the accuracy of the information included in his/her entry. Multiple entries from the same person will render all entries void.
4.3. The Entrant, in order to be eligible to enter the Prize Draw, must complete the entry form and accept the Rules on the landing page on the Organisers website: airtransat.com/en-GB/contests/win-flights-toronto-prize-draw (the “website”). Limit of one (1) entry per person.
5. PRIZE
In total, there is one (1) grand prize available, consisting of:
- Two (2) direct return Economy Class flights at the Eco Standard fare to Toronto from London Gatwick, Manchester or Glasgow with Air Transat, including taxes and surcharges.
- Option Plus: a bundle of perks including additional checked baggage, priority services, standard seat selection and on-board comforts.
- Two-night (2) stay for two at the W Toronto, with a $100 dining experience in W Living Room and 1Hr Sound Suite listening session.
- Guidebook bundle including the Toronto Pocket Guide, Canada Blue Spine and The Travel Book published by Lonely Planet.
The Prize is valued at approximately £2,100 (GBP).
6. DRAW
The prize winner (the “Winner”) will be selected using a computer process that produces a verifiably random result. The prize draw will take place at the Air Transat office located at Second Floor, Craven House, 121 Kingsway, London, WC2B 6PA, on 30 October 2025 at midday GMT.
A total of one (1) winner will be chosen among eligible participants.
7. ODDS OF WINNING
Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received during the Prize draw period
8. CONDITIONS ATTACHED TO THE PRIZE
i. Flight and hotel prize are offered in the form of a certificate.
ii. Flight and hotel prize must be booked by 28 February 2026, and travel must be completed by 31 October 2026. Blackout dates apply
iii. Guidebook bundle will be sent directly to the Prize Winner at the postal address provided in their entry
8.1 The selected Winner and travelling companion must travel together both ways. Travel arrangements will be made by the Organiser. Trip must be booked at least 30 days in advance and no later than 28 February 2026, with travel completed by 31 October 2026. Blackout dates apply from 10 December 2025 to 10 January 2026, from 30 March 2026 to 10 April 2026 and from 20 July 2026 to 4 September 2026 inclusive.
8.2 The Prize offered must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, exchangeable, refundable or redeemable for cash or any other consideration, and no substitutions will be allowed. Prize is subject to availability, and the Organiser reserves the right to withdraw or amend the promotion at any time as necessary due to circumstances outside its reasonable control. The Organisers decision on the alternative prize is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8.3 All costs and expenses other than those mentioned as being included in the prize are not included and will be the sole responsibility of the Winner and his/her travelling companion, including without limitation, accommodation, ground transportation and arrangements, personal expenses, meals, beverages and consumptions, travel expenses, upgrades in accommodation, and the costs of obtaining insurance, travel documents, visas, city taxes and service charges, and incidental charges. The Winner and his/her travelling companion must get any required inoculations and/or required medical forms completed to clear them for travel.
8.4 Reservations are subject to the availability of the Organiser. The terms and conditions as stated on www.airtransat.com are applicable. The Organiser strongly recommends that the selected Winner and his/her travelling companion purchase travel insurance at time of the reservation or prior to departure.
8.5 Flight tickets and hotel stay are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Names and dates of travel cannot be altered once booked. The Organiser will not extend validity of the prize under any circumstances. The Winner is responsible for obtaining proper travel documentation (e.g., passports, visas etc), travel insurance, ground transportation and all other costs, expenses and taxes that are not specifically included above. The Organiser is not responsible if Winner is denied entrance into any country for any reason.
8.6 In the event that the Winner and/or their travel companion do not use part of the Prize; no compensation of any kind will be provided.
8.7 If the Winner and/or their travel companion are not available to take the trip at the appropriate time and in accordance with the terms and conditions (the Rules) set forth herein, no compensation will be provided.
8.8 The Organiser shall not be liable if weather conditions, event cancellations, labour disputes, or other factors beyond the Organiser's reasonable control prevent a Prize from being fully awarded or enjoyed. In such cases, the Winner shall not be entitled to a replacement prize or cash equivalent.
8.9 The Organiser shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses that may arise from any accident, injury, or death.
9. PRIZE CLAIM
9.1. In order to be declared a winner, the selected entrant must:
9.1.1. fulfil the conditions for participation set out in articles 3 and 4 of these Rules;
9.1.2. The Winner will be notified via the email address or phone number submitted in their entry and will have five (5) business days from notification to confirm their prize.
- Contact shall be deemed to have been made with the Winner if a representative of the Organiser is able to speak by telephone directly with the Winner (and not via voicemail or any form of automated call service) or the Organiser is satisfied (at its sole discretion) that any email notification sent by the Organiser has been received by the Winner.
- The Winner must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question.
9.1.3. If prize notifications are returned as non-deliverable, or after two notifications no response is received, the Winner will be disqualified and the prize forfeited, and the Organiser may, in its sole discretion, award the prize to an alternate Winner selected from all eligible entries received.
9.1.4. Failure to observe any of the conditions mentioned above or any other conditions stipulated in these Rules, the selected Winner will be disqualified and the Prize that would have been awarded will be forfeited.
9.1.5. The Winner must provide their postal address to the Organiser to enable them to send the guidebooks within 30 days of receiving the information.
10. PERSONAL INFORMATION
The Organiser must either publish, or make available, information that indicates a valid Prize Draw took place. To comply with this obligation, the Organiser will publish or make available the surname and county of the Winner on the Air Transat website. If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the Organiser on tsukmarketing@transat.com. In such circumstance, the Organiser must still provide the information and winning entries to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
11. DATA PROTECTION
11.1. Entries remain the property of the Organiser. Any personal data collected and provided to the Organiser will be subject to the Privacy Policy.
11.2. The Organiser will only use the personal data of the Winner and their travel companion for the purposes of administering the Prize redemption, unless the Winner provides explicit, informed, and freely given consent for their personal data to be used for:
11.2.1. marketing communications regarding the products and services offered by the Organiser, including special offers and information on travel services;
11.2.2. to conduct a survey on the effectiveness of the website, advertising, and sales efforts of the Organiser.
11.3. Consent must be provided by ticking the appropriate opt-in box on the official entry form and may be withdrawn at any time. If you are required to submit a third party’s personal information to enter or participate in the Prize Draw, you must ensure that the person whose details you submit has given their consent for you to provide the Organiser with their details. All entrants may request the removal of their personal data from the Organiser’s database at any time by contacting the Organiser or using the unsubscribe link provided in marketing emails.
12. GENERAL CONDITIONS
12.1. By participating in this Prize Draw, Entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Organiser, which are final in all matters relating to this Prize Draw and acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules. Each Entrant acknowledges that the Privacy Policy and the Terms of use found on www.airtransat.com are hereby incorporated by reference and apply to the submission of entries pursuant to these Official Rules.
12.2. By participating, each Entrant hereby agrees to the Organisers collection and usage of the entrant’s personal information and acknowledges that the Entrant has read and accepted the above-referenced Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
12.3. The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify an entrant or cancel his/her entry if he/she enters or attempts to enter this Prize Draw in a manner that does not comply with these Rules. This Entrant may be turned over to the appropriate judicial authorities. Any decision of the Organiser regarding this aspect of the Prize Draw is final.
12.4. By entering this Prize Draw, the selected Winner and his/her travelling companion acknowledge that their name and or image may be required to be used in publicity, however no personal information will be published without their prior consent.
12.5. The Prize Draw, and these Rules, are governed by English law, and any disputes arising in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
12.6. The Prize Draw is administered by the Organiser. The Organiser assumes no responsibility for entry forms that are received after the Prize Draw Closing Date, lost, stolen, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, falsified, altered or destroyed, and such forms shall be deemed null and void. The Organiser will assume no responsibility for any problem, failure or technical malfunction of a network line, online computer system, peripheral telephone, software, server, provider, email or browser or any other technical malfunction that may occur, including, but not limited to, a problem of the transmission or non-transmission, for any reason whatsoever. The Organiser is not responsible in any way for erroneous or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by the equipment and/or programs associated with or used by the Prize Draw or by a technical or human error that may have occurred in conducting the Prize Draw, including in the processing of entry forms. The Organiser assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, loss or fault relating to operation or transmission, failure of communication lines, loss or destruction or prohibited access to or modification of the entry forms. The Organiser is not responsible for any injuries or damages that may result from the holding of the Prize Draw. All entry forms become the property of the Organiser and will not be returned to the Entrant. The Organiser reserves the right to destroy all the documents pertaining to the Prize Draw once the retention period as required by law has expired. The Organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or postpone the Prize Draw at any time, without prior notice, if any factor prevents the Prize Draw from being conducted in accordance with these Rules or in compliance with any law, regulation, or policy of any entity having jurisdiction over the Organiser. 12.7. In the event of loss, theft, damage, alteration, or unauthorised use of the Prize, it will not be refunded or replaced.
12.8. The contest promoters are not responsible for delays or cancellations related to the prize that may occur before or during the trip. Any loss or theft of tickets, certificates, or other property will not be compensated.
12.9. By entering the Prize Draw, the Entrant acknowledges having read and understood these Rules and agrees to be bound by them and to comply with them. The Entrant declares that the Rules are understandable and reasonably available for consultation.
12.10. The headings herein are for convenience only, do not constitute a part of these Rules, and shall not be deemed to limit or affect any of the provisions hereof. No amendment to, or waiver of, any provision of these Rules shall be effective unless in writing and signed by the Organiser.
