Air Transat x London Gatwick Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”)

Prize Draw Rules (the “Rules”)

  1. PRIZE DRAW PERIOD

    The “Air Transat and London Gatwick Prize Draw” (the “Prize Draw”) is sponsored by Transat Tours Canada Inc. operating as Air Transat (the “Promoter”) and marketed in partnership with Gatwick Airport Limited (the “Promotional Partner”). The “Prize Draw Period” starts on 20 May 2026 at 00:01 BST (the “Prize Draw Opening Date”) and ends 30 September 2026 at 23:59 BST (the “Prize Draw Closing Date”).

  2. PRIZE DRAW GROUP

    For the purposes of the Prize Draw, the “Prize Draw Group” is composed of the Promoter and the Promotional Partner, together with franchisees, advertising and promotion agencies, suppliers of material and services related to the Prize Draw and any other corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship or other legal entity to the benefit of which this Prize Draw is held, as well as their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and other representatives.

  3. ELIGIBILITY

    The Prize Draw is open to all residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 years or over as of Prize Draw Opening Date, with the exception of employees, agents, and representatives of the Promoter or the Promotional Partner, its affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies, suppliers of materials, prizes, and services associated with this Prize Draw, as well as any other person directly involved in the organisation of the Prize Draw, and members of their immediate family, parents, siblings, children, their spouses or common-law partners, and all persons with whom these employees, representatives, and agents cohabit.

  4. METHODS OF ENTRY
    1. There is no purchase necessary to enter the Prize Draw. Individuals (the “Entrant” or “Entrants”) may enter during the Prize Daw Period using the method outlined below. No entries will be accepted by any other means.
    2. Entrants must have a valid email address to enter. One entry per email address. Each Entrant is responsible for the accuracy of the information included in his/her entry. Multiple entries from the same person will render all entries void.
    3. The Entrant, in order to be eligible to enter the Prize Draw, must complete the entry form and accept the Terms and Conditions on the landing page on the Promoters website: https://www.airtransat.com/en-GB/contests/london-gatwick (the “website”). Limit of one (1) entry per person.
  5. PRIZE

    In total, there is one (1) grand prize available, consisting of:

    • Two (2) direct return Economy Class flights at the Eco Standard fare from London Gatwick to Toronto, Montreal or Ottawa, including taxes and surcharges.
    • One free Official London Gatwick Parking booking (Valet Parking North or Valet Parking South only), one free London Gatwick Fast Track Security booking for two (2), one free London Gatwick Fast Track Passport Control booking for two (2) and one free London Gatwick Lounge booking (choice of any North Terminal lounge) for two (2).

    The Prize is valued at approximately £1,500 (GBP).

  6. DRAW

    The Prize Winner (the “Winner”) will be selected using a computer process that produces a verifiably random result. The prize draw will take place at the Air Transat Office located at Second Floor, Craven House, 121 Kingsway, London, WC2B 6PA, on 7 October 2026 at midday BST.

    A total of one (1) winner will be chosen among eligible participants.

  7. ODDS OF WINNING

    The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received during the Prize Draw Period.

  8. CONDITIONS ATTACHED TO THE PRIZE

    Air Transat flights:

    • i. Flight prize is offered in the form of a prize certificate.
    • ii. Prize must be booked by 31 December 2026, and travel must be completed by 30 June 2027. Blackout dates apply.
    • iii. Entrants must live in the UK and be over 18 years of age at date of entry.

    London Gatwick prize:

    • The prize must be booked directly via www.gatwickairport.com. All products must be booked together in a single order. All products are subject to availability.
    • A 100% discount code for the specified prize items will be given which cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and cannot be applied to existing bookings. The discount code can only be used once.
    • Prize must be booked by 30 June 2027.
    • Fast Track Security is open daily 04:00-20:00.
    • Fast Track Passport Control is open daily 06:00-0:00.
    • Lounges opening times vary by lounge. Terms and conditions apply to lounge entry. See individual lounge pages for full details.
     
    1. The selected Winner and travelling companion must travel together both ways. Bookings will be issued in the winner’s name and their one (1) nominated travel partner only. Trip must be booked at least 30 days in advance of departure and no later than 31 December 2026, with travel completed by 30 June 2027. Travel during peak season may be restricted. Blackout dates apply from 11 June 2026 to 4 September 2026, 10 December 2025 to 11 January 2027, and from 26 March 2026 to 10 April 2027, inclusive.
    2. The Prize offered must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable, exchangeable, refundable or redeemable for cash or any other consideration, has no equivalent cash alternative, and no substitutions will be allowed. Stopovers are not permitted, and tickets are not upgradeable. Names and dates of travel cannot be altered once booked. The Promoter will not extend validity of the prize under any circumstances. Prize, and applicable travel dates, are subject to availability at the time of booking, and the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw or amend the promotion at any time as necessary due to circumstances outside its reasonable control. The Promoter’s decision on the alternative prize is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
    3. All costs and expenses other than those mentioned as being included in the prize are not included and will be the sole responsibility of the Winner and his/her travelling companion, including without limitation, accommodation, ground transportation and arrangements, personal expenses, meals, beverages and consumptions, travel expenses, upgrades in accommodation, and the costs of obtaining insurance, travel documents, visas, city taxes and service charges, and incidental charges. The Winner and his/her travelling companion must get any required inoculations and/or required medical forms completed to clear them for travel.
    4. Reservations are subject to the availability of the Promoter. The terms and conditions as stated on www.airtransat.com are applicable. The Promoter strongly recommends that the selected Winner and his/her travelling companion purchase travel insurance at time of the reservation or prior to departure. The Promoter is not responsible if Winner is denied entrance into any country for any reason.
    5. In the event that the Winner and/or their travel companion do not use part of the Prize or are not available to take the trip at the appropriate time and in accordance with the terms and conditions, no compensation of any kind will be provided.
    6. Promoter shall not be liable if weather conditions, event cancellations, labour disputes, or other factors beyond the airlines reasonable control prevent a Prize from being fully awarded or enjoyed. In such cases, the Winner shall not be entitled to a replacement prize or cash equivalent.
    7. If the Winner and/or their travel companion are not available to take the trip at the appropriate time and in accordance with the terms and conditions (the Rules) set forth herein, no compensation will be provided.
    8. The Promoter shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses that may arise from any accident, injury, or death.
    9. In the event of loss, theft, damage, alteration, or unauthorised use of the Prize, it will not be refunded, replaced or compensated. The Promoter is not responsible for delays or cancellations related to the prize that may occur before or during the trip.
    10. The winner is solely responsible for the winnings and its use, as well as the benefit of their winnings.
  9. CLAIMING THE PRIZE
    1. In order to be declared a Winner, the selected entrant must:
      1. fulfil the conditions for participation set out in articles 3 and 4 of these Rules;
      2. The Winner will be notified via the email address or phone number submitted in their entry and will have five (5) business days from notification to confirm their prize.
        • i. Contact shall be deemed to have been made with the Winner if a representative of the Promoter is able to speak by telephone directly with the Winner (and not via voicemail or any form of automated call service) or the Promoter is satisfied (at its sole discretion) that any email notification sent by the Promoter has been received by the Winner.
      3. If prize notifications are returned as non-deliverable, or after two notifications no response is received, the Winner will be disqualified and the prize forfeited, and the Promoter may, in its sole discretion, award the prize to an alternate Winner selected from all eligible entries received.
      4. Failure to observe any of the conditions mentioned above or any other conditions stipulated in these Rules, the selected Winner will be disqualified and the Prize that would have been awarded will be forfeited.
  10. PERSONAL INFORMATION
    1. The Promoter must either publish, or make available, information that indicates a valid Prize Draw took place. To comply with this obligation, the Promoter will publish or make available the surname and county of the Winner on the Air Transat website. If you object to any or all of your surname and county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter on tsukmarketing@transat.com. In such circumstance, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entries to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  11. DATA PROTECTION
    1. Entries remain the property of the Promoter. Any personal data collected and provided to the Promoter will be subject to the Privacy Policy  Will open in a separate browser window.
    2. The Promoter will only use the personal data of the Winner and their travel companion for the purposes of administering the Prize redemption, unless the Winner provides explicit, informed, and freely given consent for their personal data to be used for:
      1. marketing communications regarding the products and services offered by the Promoter, including special offers and information on travel services;
      2. to conduct a survey on the effectiveness of the website, advertising, and sales efforts of the Promoter.
    3. Consent must be provided by ticking the appropriate opt-in box on the official entry form and may be withdrawn at any time. If you are required to submit a third party’s personal information to enter or participate in the Prize Draw, you must ensure that the person whose details you submit has given their consent for you to provide the Promoter with their details. All entrants may request the removal of their personal data from the Promoter’s database at any time by contacting the Promoter or using the unsubscribe link provided in marketing emails.
  12. GENERAL CONDITIONS
    1. By participating in this Prize Draw, Entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the Promoter, which are final in all matters relating to this Prize Draw and acknowledge compliance with these Terms and Conditions. Each Entrant acknowledges that the Privacy Policy  Will open in a separate browser window and Terms of Use  Will open in a separate browser window found on www.airtransat.com/en-GB are hereby incorporated by reference and apply to the submission of entries pursuant to these Terms and Conditions.
    2. By participating, each Entrant hereby agrees to the Promoter’s collection and usage of the Entrant’s personal information and acknowledges that the Entrant has read and accepted the above-referenced Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
    3. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify an Entrant or cancel his/her entry if he/she enters or attempts to enter this Prize Draw in a manner that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions. This Entrant may be turned over to the appropriate judicial authorities. Any decision of the Promoter regarding this aspect of the Prize Draw is final.
    4. By entering this Prize Draw, the selected Winner and his/her travelling companion acknowledge that their name and or image may be required to be used in publicity, however no personal information will be published without their prior consent.
    5. The Prize Draw, and these Terms and Conditions, are governed by English law, and any disputes arising in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
    6. The Prize Draw is administered by the Promoter. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for entry forms that are received after the Prize Draw Closing Date, lost, stolen, misdirected, illegible, incomplete, falsified, altered or destroyed, and such forms shall be deemed null and void. The Promoter will assume no responsibility for any problem, failure or technical malfunction of a network line, online computer system, peripheral telephone, software, server, provider, email or browser or any other technical malfunction that may occur, including, but not limited to, a problem of the transmission or non-transmission, for any reason whatsoever. The Promoter is not responsible in any way for erroneous or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by the equipment and/or programs associated with or used by the Prize Draw or by a technical or human error that may have occurred in conducting the Prize Draw, including in the processing of entry forms. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, loss or fault relating to operation or transmission, failure of communication lines, loss or destruction or prohibited access to or modification of the entry forms. The Promoter is not responsible for any injuries or damages that may result from the holding of the Prize Draw. All entry forms become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the Entrant. The Promoter reserves the right to destroy all the documents pertaining to the Prize Draw once the retention period as required by law has expired. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or postpone the Prize Draw at any time, without prior notice, if any factor prevents the Prize Draw from being conducted in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or in compliance with any law, regulation, or policy of any entity having jurisdiction over the Promoter.     7. In the event of loss, theft, damage, alteration, or unauthorised use of the Prize, it will not be refunded or replaced.
    8. The Promoter is not responsible for delays or cancellations related to the prize that may occur before or during the trip. Any loss or theft of tickets, certificates, or other property will not be compensated.
    9. By entering the Prize Draw, the Entrant acknowledges having read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agrees to be bound by them and to comply with them. The Entrant declares that the Terms and Conditions are understandable and reasonably available for consultation.
    10. The headings herein are for convenience only, do not constitute a part of these Terms and Conditions, and shall not be deemed to limit or affect any of the provisions hereof. No amendment to, or waiver of, any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be effective unless in writing and signed by the Promoter.
