The hottest beach wedding styles and accessories that are perfectly suited for a destination bride. Straight from the bridal fashion runways, here are our essential fashion picks for the ultimate beach bride.

Beach Wedding Styles: La Crème de la Crème

Cut-Outs

Slinky silhouettes have become a staple of bridal fashion, and for 2017 the wedding dress trend everyone is talking about is cut-outs. Several designers showed gowns with peekaboo panels just above the hips. Some dresses were fitted with barely-there sheer inlays, while others had a little more coverage with pretty lace and fishnet fabrics. This breezy dress silhouette is elegant, flattering and perfect for warm tropical days.

Delicate Headpieces

Keeping things feeling light and airy (and a little glam!) is key when it comes to your destination bridal style vibe, and a sparkle in your hair is the perfect way to do it. We love glittering headbands as an accessory option that looks fresh and modern. They look beautiful paired with a loose updo, or with cascades of mermaid waves.

Boudoir-Inspired Dresses

These gowns hug the body and feature light- as-air lace fabric paired with design details like plunging necklines, corset details and exposed backs. This trend is taken straight from the Hollywood red carpet and is for a bride who wants to look sexy and seriously glam on her wedding day.

Pastels

Incorporating colour into bridal style is not new, but what designers showed for spring 2017 was an explosion of pastel colours ranging from delicate ombré effects in skirting to all-over soft shades and pastel detailing. From mint to blush, baby blue and even hints of lavender, pastels made headlines on the runways. We think the soft shade trend works beautifully for beachfront ‘I dos.’

The beauty of this design detail is that it works with a number of dress silhouettes, from sleek, body-conscious gowns to languid boho dresses.

Jewelled Sandals

A bride can never have too much sparkle, and we love the idea of a sexy, glittering sandal for beach brides. If you are having a ceremony in the sand, heels can be hard to manoeuvre so we suggest sticking with chic flats embellished with crystals and rhinestones. For your reception, switch into a pair of dazzling heels for dancing the night away.
