Jean-Philippe Tastet

An attentive observer of the Quebecois palate for a quarter of a century, Jean-Phillipe has followed the evolution of Quebecois traditions with interest, especially when it comes to the serious things in life- that is, sitting down at the dinner table. He enjoys recounting his diverse experiences, both here and across the globe, and sharing his unusual passions with his readers – among them, a love for tête de violon, the 21st-century poutine and the Quebec cheese-making process. He publishes a weekly restaurant critique in Le Devoir, and occasionally writes articles on gastronomy for several quality magazines.
