    Transat's health measures program

    Travel with peace of mind thanks to Transat’s Traveller Care program, implementing health measures throughout your journey, from check-in to boarding, as well as on board and at your destination.

  • Before you go

    • Make sure you are medically fit to travel
    • Refer to our practical guide for your destination country’s entry requirements and those of Canada
    • Avoid lining up at the airport by paying for extra baggage, sports gear or inflight services online (up to 72 hours before departure)
    • Complete your online check-in 24 hours before departure
    • Download the ArriveCAN mobile app. You will be required to provide certain information like contact details and proof of vaccination (if applicable) within 72 hours of arrival in Canada.

  • Wearing a mask

    • A mask must be worn at all times at the airport, on board the aircraft, during transfers and on excursions
    • Masks are worn by our teams as well (airport agents, flight attendants, Transat destination representatives)

  • Our prevention efforts

    • Our self-service kiosks and check-in counters are regularly and carefully cleaned and disinfected
    • The aircraft is thoroughly cleaned with a hospital-grade disinfectant
    • On board, cabin air is exchanged every three minutes with our High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters, which eliminate 99.995% of nanoparticles like bacteria and viruses
    • The transfer vehicle for our all-inclusive package customers is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each transfer

Air Transat's mobile app lets you limit contact, avoid lineups and learn about the health measures and requirements for your trip.

  • If you booked an all-inclusive package
    • Learn about your destination and available excursions
    • Book excursions online before departure, or through the Air Transat app* from your destination
