Update on our operations to/from Cuba

Montreal, April 22, 2026 - Due to the ongoing fuel shortage situation in Cuba, we must adjust our flight program to this destination.

Subject to how the situation evolves, the gradual resumption of our flights is now planned for October 25, 2026.

Travel to Europe - New Entry/Exit System (EES)

European Union member states have introduced a new Entry/Exit System (EES), which will be rolled out at all airports from April 10, 2026. Non-EU travellers should expect longer waiting times at border control points on both arrival and departure.

End of Strike Threat – Tentative Agreement Reached

Air Transat has reached a tentative agreement with the union representing its pilots regarding the renewal of their collective agreement. This agreement marks a significant step in the process, lifting the risk of a strike and allowing our customers to travel with peace of mind.

Temporary suspension of flights to/from Port-au-Prince

Montreal, May 13, 2026 - Due to the precarious situation in Haiti, we are forced to suspend our flights to/from Port-au-Prince. They will resume only once conditions allow for safe operations for our crews and customers.
