Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport - Montreal

Discover Espace Air Transat at the Montréal–Trudeau airport

  • Transat presents Espace Air Transat

A new section designed to reflect its image, located in the new international terminal. The product of an innovative partnership with Aéroports de Montréal, Espace Air Transat welcomes travellers in a lively atmosphere brightened up by the joy of vacations.

  • In the heart of Espace Air Transat

Travellers can explore a multimedia installation created by Moment Factory that offers an immersive experience unlike any other. This interactive installation is made up of 20 movement-detecting audiovisual portals of different heights. Visitors can move freely from portal to portal for entertainment and inspiration for their next vacation, provided by three playful and inspiring video capsules representing Transat’s travel program on land, at sea and in the air.

  • Ocean scene

The first capsule shows an aerial view of a stylized ocean, over which float translucent clouds. Travellers can discover Transat’s South and European destinations, illustrated as imaginary islands and cinemagraphs.

  • Nighttime scene

The second capsule shows city lights at night, as seen from an airplane window before landing. A paper plane — playfully representing an Air Transat aircraft — unfolds to reveal the airline’s destinations as in the ocean scene.

  • Bubbles scene

This capsule depicts bubbles that transform into famous landmarks found at Air Transat’s destinations: the Colosseum in Rome, Opéra Garnier in Paris, cathedral in Puerto Vallarta and other highlights are meant to inspire future travels.

  • A wave of light gradually sweeps over the portals between scene transitions.
