Window or aisle?

Would you prefer a window or an aisle seat? Or one close to the movie screen? Air Transat's advance Seat Selection service makes your life easier by letting you choose the seat you want. By using the online Seat selection system you can eliminate all worry and enjoy the flight next to your travelling companion(s).

To view aircraft seating plans, click on one of the following aircraft:
A310-300; A330-200; A330-300.

Reserve your seat when purchasing your tickets, up to:

  • 2 days prior to departure for flights departing from Canada, Southern destinations and Florida;
  • 3 days prior to departure for flights departing from all European cities;
  • 5 days prior to departure for flights operated by Thomas Cook Airlines.

Prices are per passenger, per flight segment.

*Two-by-two seats: These are located in the two-seater section in the rear of the economy class and new fare applies only on A310-300 aircrafts.

We recommend you arrive at the Air Transat check-in counter at least three hours prior to flight departure. When checking in, be sure to specify that you have pre-selected your seat. Seat Selection can be cancelled without refund 60 minutes prior to departure.

Pre-assigned seating for passengers with special needs

Air Transat's Information and Seat Selection Centre (1-877-TRANSAT (872-6728)) pre-assigns appropriate seating for all passengers with special needs up to 2 days prior to a flight's departure to a Southern destination and up to 3 days prior to a flight's departure to Europe. Once a passenger has identified him/herself as a person with special needs, their call will be transferred to a dedicated agent within the department. The passenger will be asked to provide any relevant information, so that together they can discuss and determine the special seating requirement. All efforts will be made to accommodate the passenger with a suitable seat most appropriate for their needs. The seat selection fees may be waived, and passengers may be asked to provide a medical letter supporting their request. We encourage our passengers with special needs to contact our Information and Seat Selection Centre directly to speak to our agents in order to discuss their specific requirements. Leather seats in Air Transat's Economy Class

Air Transat has outfitted its Economy Class with leather seats to make your flight more pleasant. You can appreciate the quality of the comfortable and elegant leather seats on the entire fleet.

Carefully crafted and made of high-quality leather, these supple seats offer comfort and make for an even more pleasant flight. The dark navy seats are in line with the company's colours and make for a calming and pleasing environment.

Limit of liability

Upon payment of the charges associated with seat pre-selection, Air Transat will grant you your assigned seat. Should a substitution of aircraft occur, Air Transat will assign you an equivalent seat. If you wish to cancel your seat selection, you can do so up to 2 days prior to departure. In the event of cancellation as provided in the present clause or if you were unable to obtain the seat you requested, Air Transat's liability is limited to refunding the charges incurred for seat selection.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

FLIGHTS OPERATED UNDER CODE SHARING WITH AIR TRANSAT

If you are travelling between Canada and the United Kingdom, please note that your departure or return flight may be operated by a carrier other than Air Transat (Thomas Cook Airlines or Skyservice Airlines).

If you are travelling between Toronto and Florida (to or from Fort Lauderdale or Orlando), your flight may be operated by Skyservice Airlines.

Only TS flights in the 800 to 899 series will be operated by a carrier other than Air Transat (Thomas Cook Airlines or Skyservice Airlines).

All TS flights of other series will be operated by Air Transat.
