    About our aircraft

Your safety and that of our employees is our top priority. That is why, upon the COVID-19 outbreak, we created a proactive and multidisciplinary team to monitor the virus's spread and adapt our operations according to the recommendations from Transport Canada, the Public Health Agency of Canada and the International Air Transport Association.

The infectious diseases protocol has been strengthened and is scrupulously being applied by our cabin crew and our airport partners.

Our cleaning teams work in accordance with precise checklists; in the event of a suspected contagious disease on board, we have a strict protocol to follow regarding the cleaning of surfaces that could be contaminated, including lavatories and waste disposal. This protocol directly reflects the IATA Suspected Communicable Disease - Guideline for Cabin Crew. Cleaning crews also have a universal precaution kit at their disposal which includes both disinfection and protective equipment for workers.

Finally, all of our aircraft are equipped with HEPA filters (High Efficiency Particulate Air). Those filters remove very small particles such as bacteria and viruses with an efficiency level of 99.995%. The cabin air is always in circulation with a flow rate of 20 air changes per hour.

Although we already comply with a rigorous maintenance and cleaning process, we will strengthen it should the situation require.
